Campus Safety & Security

Emergency Procedures and Campus Safety Plans are posted in classrooms, offices, conference rooms, and other areas. They identify the area’s emergency exits, areas of rescue assistance, AEDs (automated external defibrillators), shelter-in-place locations for severe weather and evacuation rally point locations.

Campuses are also equipped with alarms, electronic message boards, loud speakers, and emergency phones. ACC Emergency Alert is used to communicate campus emergencies, crime alerts and weather closures. In addition, trained campus emergency teams assist students and employees during an emergency.
